El Nido
El Nido is a tropical paradise renowned for its towering limestone cliffs, hidden lagoons, and stunning coral reefs. It’s a top destination for island hopping, snorkeling, and diving. The town itself is charming, with a laid-back vibe, plenty of beachfront bars, and restaurants.

Coron
Coron is famous for its World War II shipwrecks, making it a prime destination for divers. The area also boasts stunning lakes, hot springs, and coral reefs. Coron Town offers a range of accommodations and serves as the starting point for exploring nearby islands.

San Vicente
San Vicente is home to the longest white sand beach in the Philippines, stretching over 14 kilometers. This area is less developed compared to El Nido and Coron, offering a more secluded and tranquil experience. It’s perfect for those seeking peace and quiet.

El Nido’s Big and Small Lagoons

The municipality of El Nido is renowned for its breathtaking limestone cliffs, turquoise lagoons, and pristine white-sand beaches. Visitors can explore the area's many small islands and hidden coves by boat, kayak, or on foot, discovering secluded beaches, dramatic rock formations, and thriving marine ecosystems. The iconic Bacuit Archipelago is a highlight, with its towering karst peaks and crystal-clear waters teeming with vibrant corals and tropical fish.

 

 Kayangan Lake

Located in Coron, Kayangan Lake is known for its incredibly clear waters. A short hike rewards you with stunning views and a refreshing swim in this serene lake.

 

Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park

 UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the world's premier diving destinations. This remote, uninhabited marine protected area in the Sulu Sea is home to a staggering diversity of marine life, including over 600 species of fish, 360 species of coral, and endangered species such as sea turtles and the iconic whale shark. Divers and snorkelers can explore the reef's vibrant underwater landscapes, including its iconic "Shipwreck" dive site.

Nacpan Beach

(El Nido)

Nacpan Beach is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches in the El Nido region of Palawan. It is known for its stunning white sand, crystal clear waters, and dramatic limestone cliffs that frame the coastline.

 

 Twin Lagoon (Coron)

The Twin Lagoon consists of two interconnected saltwater lagoons separated by a limestone cliff. The first lagoon is open to the sea, while the second lagoon is accessible via a narrow crevice in the cliff that can only be crossed during low tide.

Tamilok

local delicacy made from a type of mollusk that burrows into rotting mangrove wood. It has a unique, soft, and creamy texture when eaten raw, often with a dipping sauce of calamansi (Philippine lime), soy sauce, and chili. Tamilok is a true taste of Palawan's coastal heritage.

 

Chicken Inasal

Chicken inasal is a beloved Filipino grilled chicken dish that has strong roots in the Visayan region, including Palawan. The chicken is marinated in a tangy, savory blend of lime, vinegar, pepper, and annatto oil, which gives it a beautiful orange-red color and incredible flavor.

 

 

Kinilaw

Raw fish dish that's "cooked" by marinating the fish in a mixture of vinegar, citrus juice, and seasonings. It's a light, bright, and flavorful way to enjoy the abundant fresh seafood of Palawan.
